The Xbox Series S now comes with a 1TB variant available for purchase in all markets, including India. The Series S and Series X consoles were released in November 2020, with the former only offering 512GB storage. Below are the pricing and specifications for the 1TB variant in India.
Xbox Series S: Price, Specifications
The Xbox Series S has a price tag of Rs 38,990 according to the official Xbox India website. However, it is currently unavailable for purchase on Amazon and Flipkart. The 1TB model of the Xbox Series S features Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resins and comes in a stylish Carbon Black colour with a matte finish. Additionally, the controller is also black to match the console’s appearance.
As for it’s specs, they remain the same as the 512GB variant, obviously, except for the storage. The Series S can output 1440p resolution with a frame rate of 120 frames per second. It is powered by a Custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU running 3.6GHz and 4 Teraflops of Custom AMD RDNA 2 graphics. It further offers 10GB of GDDR6 RAM, a memory bandwidth of 8GB at 224GB/s that is allocated to GPU, 2GB at 56GB/s, and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVME SSD.

Games coming to Xbox in September 2023
Apart from this, Xbox also detailed some of the games coming to its consoles, Xbox Game Pass and PC later this month, including:

- Mortal Kombat 1 – September 19

- Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – September 26

- EA Sports FC 24 – September 29
Do note that not all of them will be available on PC and Game Pass, but they’ll be playable on Series S and Series X consoles. Furthermore, Xbox reiterated that on September 14, Xbox Live Gold will be transitioning to Xbox Game Pass Core, and current Gold members will automatically become Core members. Those who join Game Pass Core can get access to online console multiplayer, a catalogue of over 25 games, including Forza Horizon 4, Grounded, Among Us, and more, and member deals and discounts also.
