The award-winning platform-adventure game, Gris, is now accessible to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on both console and PC. Developed by the Spanish studio Nomada and published by Devolver Digital in 2018, the game is now available to play. Additionally, Xbox has released details of other titles that will be added to the cloud gaming service, Xbox Game Pass, later this month.
Gris has sold over 1 million copies and received critical acclaim for its visually appealing art style, emotional story, and soothing soundtrack. It follows the journey of a young girl who is dealing with a traumatic loss in her life. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play Gris on their mobile devices via cloud gaming (beta) with Xbox touch controls. The game has been available on Xbox Game Pass since yesterday (September 5).
Today (September 6), Starfield has also made its way to the Xbox Game Pass service. It is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios. The game is available on day one on Xbox’s cloud gaming platform. Solar Ash will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 14, while Lies of P will be another title that will be available on the day on Game Pass, beginning September 19.
Three more games are coming to Xbox Game Pass, including Party Animals on September 20, PayDay 3 on September 23 and Cocoon on September 29. These are also coming to Series S and Series X consoles on the same dates. Not only these, but Microsoft also detailed other games that will be making their way to the consoles this month.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, Game Pass Quests
Then, there’s a new Game Pass Ultimate perk where players can get access to a 3-month subscription to Minecraft Realms Plus. However, this Perk requires a payment instrument to redeem. Aside from this, September Game Pass Quests also launch today, where you can play Humans Fall Flat and Among Us to earn points.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month
Xbox also listed out nine games that will be leaving its cloud gaming library on September 15, including:
- Amazing Cultivation Simulator
- Aragami 2
- Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition
- DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventure of Krypto and Ace
- Fuga: Melodies of Steel
- Metal Hellsinger
- Sid Meier’s Civilization 6
- Tainted Grail: Conquest
- Train Sim World 3
So these were all the games that are coming to and leaving the Xbox Game Pass library in September 2023. While Starfield is the biggest launch out of the list, Gris is also worth looking at, considering it has been loved by many over the years.
