Airship Syndicate’s online action RPG, Wayfinder, has just rolled out a significant update for its PC version. The game’s initial launch during early access was not as successful as expected. However, the Wayfinder update patch v0.1.4.0 is now live, bringing about major changes such as an overhaul of the Echo Fusion system, the addition of the option to sell accessories, and the resolution of various bugs and issues players encountered in the game.
Echo Fusion in Wayfinder enhances the Echoes, which are powerful artefacts that give the player different abilities and bonuses. Previously, players had to combine Echoes of the same type and level to increase their rank, which was becoming tedious and confusing. Now, players can break down their Echoes into Echo Dust, which can be used to upgrade any Echo of their choice. This simplifies the system and gives players more control over their Echo customisation.
Another new feature in the update is the ability to sell accessories, which provide passive effects such as increased health or damage. Before, players could not get rid of unwanted accessories, which cluttered their inventory. Now, players can sell their accessories for gold at any vendor in the game. This also helps players manage their inventory limit.

The update patch 0.1.4.0 also fixes several bugs and issues that affected the Wayfinder’s performance and balance. For instance, some Echoes that dropped from certain bosses were not at their intended level or type, which made them less useful or valuable. These Echoes have now been fixed to match their intended specifications. Some abilities that did not work properly or displayed incorrect feedback have also been fixed. The update also improves the loading times for travel destinations, player housing instances, and other minor UI fixes.
Wayfinder is currently in early access for PC (Steam) PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, with plans to release it on Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The game is a co-op action RPG that features four playable characters with unique skills and play styles and a dynamic world that changes based on player actions.
