In 2024, the well-known sci-fi action game, Warframe, will be available on Apple Smartphones. The announcement was made at TennoCon 2023, the yearly fan gathering for the game, where a gameplay trailer was also unveiled. This disclosure arrives two years after the game was initially declared to be in progress.
Warframe Mobile will be a full port of the main game that is currently available on PC and consoles, with cross-play and cross-progression features. This means that mobile players will be able to join millions of other players in online co-op missions across multiple open-world zones and access their existing accounts and progress on any platform.
A lot of the content will be borrowed from the main game, such as the hundreds of customizable Warframes, weapons, and abilities to choose from. Players will be able to upgrade their equipment with mods, earn in-game currency and rewards, and experience constantly evolving content and updates. The game will further be optimised for mobile with intuitive touch controls while still retaining the fast-paced and fluid combat of the main game.

The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases, similar to the main game. The pre-registrations for the title are live on the Apple App Store. Those who pre-register for the game are also set to receive Day 1 rewards. There’s also no word about the game coming to Android devices as of yet. More information about the game will be revealed in the coming months.
