Numskull Games, an independent video game publisher, has announced that the Train Valley series is getting a physical edition release for consoles in both Europe and the United States with Train Valley Collection – Deluxe Edition. This release will come bundled with previous releases of DLC that were released for both titles on Steam, according to the company.
The collection of games is scheduled to arrive October 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and interested buyers can soon secure their copies through pre-orders, which will be made available in the coming weeks. Train Valley Collection: Special Edition will be priced at $59.95 (approx Rs 5,000) while the Train Valley Collection: Standard Edition will be priced at $39.95 (approx Rs 3,310).
Apart from this, Train Valley 2 will also be coming to all consoles this October 17th, at a price of EUR 24.99 (approx Rs 2,272). Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch will be getting the Community Edition which will include all the DLC, Passenger’s Flow, Myths & Rails, and Editor’s Bulletin. Train Valley 2 on console will also include hand-picked selection of 158 community made levels that have been finalised by the developers.

As for an overview of the game, Train Valley allows players to build railways in order to connect cities, tunnels and bridges across different historical periods and locations. The game features four chapters – Europe (1830–1980), America (1840–1960), USSR (1880–1980) and Japan (1900–2020) – with a fifth chapter, Germany (1830–2020), as downloadable content. Each chapter has six levels, with various objectives and challenges, such as to avoid accidents, manage traffic, and deliver trains to their respective destinations.
The console variants will have enhanced graphics, optimised controls, and achievements and trophies support. The game will also support cross-play between different platforms, allowing players to share their progress and compete with each other online.
