The game is based on the extremely popular Korean manhwa with the same name, released as a webtoon. Tower of God: Great Journey is a 2D action-packed RPG with marvellous anime-inspired graphics and a gripping storyline. It is based on the popular Korean webtoon with the same name, which has garnered over 4 billion views and is still running for more.

Storyline in Brief

The plot revolves around the story of a boy named Twenty-Fifth Bam. He has been trapped beneath the tower for most of his life with his only companion, Rachel. One fine day, Rachel steps into this mysterious Tower and Bam is left distraught. He manages to enter the tower, determined to see Rachel again at any cost, even if it endangers his life. He also finds many allies during his journey up the tower. Here, you come into the picture with the liberty to live Bam’s life as a warrior who will save Rachel with the help of his allies. You will also get the option to play other characters and follow their storylines. The tower is a strange and mystical place completely enclosed, and it hosts many unique environments separated into stages. At every stage, there is a different culture, and as you ascend through the stages, living standards keep improving.

The top of the tower is occupied by King Jahad, who rules the whole tower. The guardians of the Tower are known as ‘the regulars’, and outsiders are ‘irregulars’. King Jahad is immortal due to the pact he struck with the regulars. Only an irregular can break his tyranny by killing him, and the whole plot revolves around this fact, as Twenty-Fifth Bam is one of them.

Pre-registrations for Tower of God: Great Journey commenced on January 11, 2023, on Android and iOS. The official launch dates are yet to be released, but it is alleged to be out in Q1 2023.
