A new virtual reality action game, Tiger Blade, is coming to PlayStation VR2 on November 17, 2023. Developed by Ikimasho in Seoul, South Korea and published by Big Sugar, Tiger Blade combines sword and gun combat. In addition, upcoming games like Among Us and The Foglands will also be available on PS VR2.
Tiger Blade puts players in the role of a skilled assassin who belongs to the Horangi chapter of the Tiger Clans, a secret society of warriors. During a heist, the assassin discovers a tiger cub, considered extinct in the game’s neo-Korean setting. This triggers a series of events that will test the assassin’s loyalty and skills.

The game features fast-paced and dynamic gameplay. Players can use their swords to slash enemies or objects and automatically dash to the next action point. They can also switch to their pistol to shoot enemies from a distance or deflect bullets with their swords.

Additionally, players can use their grapple to hook and swing at designated spots, grab guns or cover from enemies, or even pull enemies closer for a finishing blow. Tiger Blade boasts detailed environments based on real Korean locations, such as docks, marketplaces, and alleyways.
In a blog post, the co-founder and CEO at Ikimasho, Yann Suquet, said that classic arcade games like Time Crisis and Shinobi inspire Tiger Blade. He also said that the game is designed to be highly replayable, with different paths, secrets, and challenges to discover. Tiger Blade will be available for PS VR2 and PS5 on November 17, 2023.
Aside from this, Among Us VR is coming to PS VR2 at the suggested retail price of USD 9.99 (approx Rs 830) but hasn’t a release date yet. Journey to Foundation, where the players take the role of a galactic spy, is out on October 26 on PS VR2. The Foglands, which can be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store as of now, will be coming to PS VR2 and PS5 on October 31.
