11 Bit Studios has finally revealed the release date for its upcoming sci-fi survival adventure mystery game, The Invincible. The title is based on Stanislaw Lem’s novel and challenges humanity’s ambitions with a gorgeous art style.
The Invincible: A sci-fi adventure that has you explore a red planet
In The Invincible, the player takes control of an astrobiologist named Yasna. The objective of the game is simple, find your crew that has gone missing and bring them back “dead or alive”. Your team is lost somewhere on this planet that closely resembles Mars and is called Regis III. The planet appears to be uninhabited and barren but appears to hold many secrets. The basic premise of the game appears to instill an unsettling feeling in an alien world.

As per official notes, “Regis III is uninhabited but that doesn’t mean the people who visit here can feel like unopposed rulers,” which likely hints at some form of danger. The game is based on Stainslaw’s novel of the same name and fuses a “retro-futuristic and atompunk design and aesthetics”. This is paired with poppy colors and a unique art style that offers great visuals.
