In case you’re not aware, the Mutant Mayhem animated movie premiered in July 2023. This latest instalment breathes new life into the entire TMNT franchise. The four turtles – Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael – strive to win over the citizens of New York City after living in seclusion from the human world. They’re joined by a new ally, April O’Neil, who assists them in battling a shadowy criminal organization. The movie was a commercial triumph, with numerous fans of the original cartoon flocking back to see the reboot.

TNMT Game: When Does it Release?

Following the success of the movie, Mutant Mayhem is getting its very own video game adaptation, which will be a direct sequel. The TMNT: Mutant Mayhem game is confirmed to arrive on PC and consoles. So we can expect it to be released for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It is unclear if a Nintendo Switch version is planned. Unfortunately, there is no word on the release of this game.

TMNT Game: The Plot

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game adaptation will be set a month after the Mutant Mayhem movie. So rather than bringing a new story, we’ll play as the turtles we saw on the big screen. Gamers will get to fight crime in New York City from a “new mutant threat,” as per a press release. The title will mark the return of a “host of memorable characters from the franchise” as well.
