Sony recently unveiled a limited edition Spider-Man 2 bundle for the PlayStation 5. It has announced the new Deep Earth Collection that brings the PS5 and the DualSense controllers in three new colour options.
Sony PS5 Deep Earth Collection
Since the Spider-Man 2 PS5 Edition is still facing stock issues, the company’s new Deep Earth Collection could be perfect for those looking to customize their PS5. Sony’s latest console features plain white covers, which can be removed and replaced with a different face plate. The Deep Earth Collection brings three new options: Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver.

Fresh Design with a Premium Finish
So basically, there’s a fresh red, blue, and silver variant of the PS5. The silver version features an attractive and shiny finish, while the other two offer a metallic finish. These three options also match the consoles’ respective DualSense colours. Unfortunately, Sony hasn’t yet revealed finer details like the release date, pre-order information, or the PS5 Deep Earth Collection pricing. However, the latest colour might cost around the same as the other covers and DualSense control options.

This means that the Deep Earth controllers would cost $75 or more since they also feature a metallic finish. So, it is slightly above the $55 price tag of the base colour. The new collection adds a breath of fresh air to the rather simplistic design of the PlayStation 5. So, if you want to personalize your PS5 in more attractive colours apart from the base white, these could be your next purchase. Notably, the announcement also arrived soon after Sony released a major PS5 update that supported Dolby Atmos support, PS Remote Play for Android TVs, and much more, which you can check out by clicking here.
