Sony has unveiled a limited edition PlayStation 5 bundle inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, set to launch soon. Here’s everything you need to know.

Sony PS5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle: What does it offer?

For those unaware, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games will launch exclusively on the PlayStation 5 on 20th October 2023. To promote the title, Sony has just released a new bundle that turns its gaming console to offer a Spider-Man and symbiote-themed design. The special edition bundle features the console, face plates, and a DualSense controller, bringing a Spider-Man-inspired aesthetic. This unique console model and DualSense wireless controller retails for $600.

Since Venom is a prominent character in the game, the Spider-Man 2 PS5 console is completely covered in black with the Spider-Man logo on one side. On the other hand, the controller has a hybrid design, with the symbiote almost completely covering Spider-Man’s iconic red costume. The new console edition will also arrive with a digital voucher for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition. If you don’t want to shell out money for the whole bundle, you can customize the PS5 you already own with the special Spider-Man 2 face plates.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

The upcoming Spider-Man video game is a highly anticipated launch. It will likely be a blockbuster hit for Sony, just like the first Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Miles Morales spin-off. The game’s global release is set for October 20 as a PS5 exclusive. Unfortunately, there is no news for a PC port or when the game will be brought to Sony’s PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium subscription service.
