Sony has announced the lineup of free games that will be making its way to its PlayStation Plus subscription service next month. So gamers with an Essential, Premium, or Extra subscription can download the upcoming titles from the PSN Store.
Sony PlayStation Plus August 2023: What’s in Store?
One of the major titles coming to PS Plus in August is the PGA Tour 2K23. This game will be dropping on the PSN Store on August 1 and will be free to download. It is a sports title that lets you take control of renowned athletes such as Tiger Woods. You can even create your very own golfer in the career mode as well. PGA Tour 2K23 will be available on the PlayStation 5 and even the older generation PlayStation 4 console as well.

But for those of you that do not prefer sports-related games, the Japanese gaming giant is also bringing in a couple of other titles. Dreams is one such game, which was developed by the studio behind the Little Big Planet series. This is a unique game that is driven by the diverse content created by the community. For those looking for more action, Death’s Door is another game that is coming to PlayStation Plus. It is a hack-and-slash with gameplay that resembles Diablo 4.
It is worth noting that the current free games on PlayStation Plus will only be available to add to your library until August 1. So make sure to claim Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling – Extinction is Forever before they rotate out from the store.
