Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most successful games from Rockstar Games. The title was also its latest open-world game as well. But now, it appears that the video game publisher has begun work on its successor, Red Dead Redemption 3.
Red Dead Redemption 3 Reportedly in Development
The popular Red Dead Redemption franchise will soon get a brand-new entry in the series. This news arrives from @MyTimeToShineH, who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter). MyTimeToShineHello recently claimed that Warner Bros. and Avalanche Studio are working on Hogwarts Legacy 2. And now, the latest tweet claims that the development of Red Dead Redemption 3 has officially kicked off.

Due to the massive success of Red Dead Redemption 2, it isn’t too surprising that a sequel will be in the works. Regardless of the leak, Rockstar Games would likely begin working on Red Dead Redemption 3 somehow. Going by recent rumours, the upcoming game will be a prequel to Red Dead Redemption 2, similar to how RDR2 was a sequel to the first Read Dead Redemption game.
Unfortunately, not much is known regarding RDR3, but we can expect it to offer the same high-budget production value. So, we can expect impressive cinematics, character design, and dialogues. Even the graphics and gameplay in RDR2 were praised universally. Meaning that the next-gen entry will likely also feature cutting-edge visuals alongside new gameplay mechanics.

Red Dead Redemption Series
The RDR games is a popular franchise from Rockstar Games. The two games from the series have been massively successful in the gaming market thanks to their massive open-world design set between the late 19th and early 20th century. In simple words, the games are set in the Wild West, with the main characters in both titles being gunslingers and outlaws. Apart from a strong narrative drive, the second instalment also offers a dedicated online multiplayer as well. So, RDR3 would likely offer a similar experience as well.
