Meet the Gaming Mouse Built using 24K Gold

Min-Liang Tan, the CEO of Razer, shared pictures of this gorgeous gaming mouse on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, he stated that this is an exclusive one-time commission of a 24K Gold Viper Signature Mini model. Meaning it isn’t for general consumers and was made specifically for a lucky and extremely rich person. Min-Liang added that this Razer mouse was made to be over the top and special but didn’t share any details regarding the model’s pricing or who it’s for. This could be a special birthday gift or a showpiece for a celebrity that games.

Razer Viper Signature Mini

For those unaware, the Razer Viper Signature Mini is a popular gaming mouse from the brand. The aspect that made this model stand out is its design. It has cutouts on its shell to shed more weight. A lot of games prefer a lighter mouse, which is why the Signature Viper Mini was successful. A regular model that you can find in stores has a shell built using magnesium alloy.

So the special 24K Gold Viper Signature Mini is quite special since it is basically not very practical. Unlike the 1.74 grams per cubic centimetre density of magnesium, Gold weighs 19.3 grams per cubic meter. This means that the special blinged-out version weighs around nine times more than the regular model. However, we are not sure if the 24K Gold is just a thin plating rather than the material for the entire build.
