To promote its latest collection, the company is teaming up with Fortnite to launch its first digital brand world, which is titled ‘Race to Greatness by Polo Ralph Lauren’. The map is in-game will blend physical and digital worlds and debut the Polo x Fortnite P-Wing Boot.

The fashion brand’s upcoming Polo x Fortnite P-Wing Boot is unique since it is part of a marketing and shopping experience like none other. While Fortnite players get a chance to play the special Ralph Lauren ‘Race to Greatness’ world, they can even buy the Polo P-Wing Boot in the game and not just in real life. This is also where the term ‘Phygital’ is derived since it blends the physical and digital realms.

The Polo x Fortnite P-Wing Boot will be available in-game as a limited edition and limited-time collectible item. These boots were made in collaboration with Polo and feature its iconic brand logo with a racing aesthetic. The physical form was recently unveiled and showcases a design influenced by the Polo Stadium Collection digital outfit with fins on the midsole.

Race to Greatness by Polo Ralph Lauren: What to Expect

For this promotional event, Ralph Lauren built a beautiful world in Fortnite. It features a vast island landscape filled with three areas: “Ralph’s Hangar”, Rocky Mountains, and Grand Forests. So you can expect to find snowy peaks, tall green pine trees, and a hangar for the cars (all three take are based on the designer’s home and garage). This map also took inspiration from the world of Ralph Lauren, taking cues from its past collections, runway shows, and more. ‘Race to Greatness by Polo Ralph Lauren’ will go live later today (3rd August 2023).
