Amazon is offering 8 free games next month on the Prime Gaming platform. These titles include popular games like Payday 2 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. So here are all the details you need to know.

Prime Gaming: What’s coming in August?

It is worth noting that you will need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to avail the free games. These include some popular titles from different genres:

• Payday 2 is a four-man co-op first-person shooter in which the players commit various heists and robberies while evading the cops. Gamers take on the role of the original PAYDAY crew, which brings absolute mayhem in the Washington DC area.
• Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is an action-adventure LucasArts game and the second installment in the franchise. This title was highly anticipated as a sequel and is one of the most popular games in Star Wars gaming history. The third-person camera helps you see your character perform insane feats with the lightsaber and show off his prowess with the Force.
• Summertime Madness has you take control of an artist that has made a deal with the devil. Free your soul from your own canvases in this puzzle game that has some gorgeous visuals.
• Foretales brings the “saving the world” trope to the card game genre. It takes you on an adventure that lets you decide the fate of the world. There are many forms of playstyles and story paths to choose from, which promises you hours of single-player entertainment.
• Blade Assault takes you back to the classic form of 2D side-scrolling games. Fight against the corrupt military Esperanza as a part of the resistance force in this 2D action platformer.

The upcoming games will replace the likes of Prey, Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition, and others, which were offered on the platform in July.

Notably, Payday 2 is being given out for free just ahead of the launch of its highly anticipated sequel, Payday 3. Prime Gaming will roll out the free games starting with Payday 2 and its Gage Mod Courier DLC on August 3.
