A document leaked from Microsoft reveals that new entries from popular Bethesda titles are being developed. The company may be working on a new game from the successful Doom and Dishonored franchises.
Doom Year Zero, Dishonored 3, and More to launch soon
The documents described Bethesda’s roadmap for the fiscal years starting in 2020 and ending in 2024. These were a part of the FTC vs Microsoft case and contained a list of games that the developer is expected to be working on. Looking at the document, we can see that a new Doom entry is under development, carrying the title Doom Year Zero. Apparently, this game is scheduled to launch in the current fiscal year.

Alongside this game, Bethesda also appears to have plans for a third instalment in the Dishonored series. The leaked documents revealed that Dishonored 3 is expected to be released in the fiscal year of 2024. During this same period, a sequel to the Ghostwire: Tokyo game will be launched as well. Bethesda has yet to confirm any of these games officially, so it is still unclear if the developer is actively working on any of these titles right now.

For those unaware, the Doom franchise is one of the first-ever FPS (first-person shooter) games, which has defined the genre’s early years. Recent adaptations have seen great success thanks to its frantic and exhilarating gameplay. In contrast to this, the Dishonored franchise focuses on stealth as a primary gameplay element. Gamers take on the role of an assassin with supernatural powers.
New Remasters for Iconic Games
Bethesda’s roadmap seems packed with fresh releases and even some remasters. While no finer details are currently available, the fiscal year of 2024 might see the launch of a Fallout 3 Remaster (an open-world role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world). An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remaster (open-world fantasy action role-playing game) was also slated for a 2022 fiscal year release, although such a title was never announced. The massive leak detailed Microsoft’s gaming hardware plans as well.
