It has been confirmed that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be available on Xbox Game Pass from its first release day. This announcement was made during the Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show. Additionally, Xbox has announced a couple of more games that will be added to Game Pass, one coming as early as next week.
The upcoming ‘Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name’ is set to be released on November 9, 2023. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game on the same day it launches. The game follows the original protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, who faked his death and became a secret agent as he is forced out of hiding by a mysterious enemy. The game features two fighting styles, Yakuza and Agent, as well as various mini-games and side activities.
The next mainline in the series will be Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which was first announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in June and will follow the stories of Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu. The game will take place in both Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama, Japan, and Hawaii – the first location in the series set outside Japan. It has a release date of January 26, 2024.
