Lenovo has unveiled a new gaming focused monitor called the Legion R25i-30. The monitor packs an IPS panel and comes with a whopping 180Hz refresh rate. It also has wide colour gamut support and offers dual speaker setup also. Is it the ideal one for you? Take a look and decide for yourself.

Lenovo hasn’t announced either the availability details or the pricing of the monitor but it should be made available soon. As for its specs, the monitor has a 24.5-inch Full HD resolution display with a 165Hz refresh rate, which can also be overclocked to 180Hz for a smoother experience. It has a 0.5ms MPRT response time to enable minimal motion blur during the most fast-paced action.
The monitor boasts a colour accuracy of 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The Lenovo R25i-30 supports 16.7 million colour with an 8-bit colour depth and includes an anti-glare coating to prevent reflections and glare on the screen if you are near a bright light source. Not only this, but it also gets DisplayHDR 400 certification for even improved contrast and dynamic range.

Apart from that, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium for reduced screen tearing and stuttering when used with a compatible graphics card. It has 400 nits of peak brightness while the typical brightness is 350 nits. The contrast ratio is 1000:1, and the dynamic contrast ratio is 3M:1. The Legion R25i-30 gets wide viewing angles of 178° both horizontally and vertically.
It has a power consumption of 18.5W typical and a maximum of 28W. The monitor’s voltage requirement is AC 100 to 240 V (50-60Hz). As for audio, it is handled by dual 3W speakers. To ensure eye comfort, the monitor features Natural Low Blue Light technology, thereby reducing blue light emission.
