Lenovo unveiled the much anticipated Legion Go gaming handheld a couple of days back, and alongside, it also debuted other gaming hardware. The new gaming devices include the new Lenovo Legion 9i and the Lenovo Legion glasses. The Legion 9i represents the company’s most top-end gaming laptop while the Legion Glasses are for making portable gaming even better.
Lenovo Legion 9i: Specifications, Price
The Lenovo Legion 9i with Intel processor is expected to be available starting October 2023 starting at €4,499 (approx Rs 4,05,600).
The laptop sports up to 16-inch 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2000) Mini LED 16:10 display with 165 Hz refresh rate, 3 ms Response Time, 100% Adobe / 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 1200 nits brightness, up to VESA DisplayHDR 1000 Certified along with Dolby Vision, NVIDIA G-SYNC support. It also has the TUV Rheinland Certification.
The Legion 9i sports a one-of-a-kind cooling system, which helps the PC achieve up to 230W TDP. Furthermore, the laptop has a triple-fan air cooling system with 6,333 individual intake vents to ensure optimal airflow. The 13th Generation Intel Core i9-13980HX powers it, and it is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

It further gets up to 64GB 5600Mhz Dual Channel DDR5 RAM coupled with up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Buyers will get an option between Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro. It is backed by a 99.99WHr battery and charges at 140W via a 330W slim adaptor. The machine will also sport a 1080p webcam with E-shutter.
As for I/O, users will get 1 x Audio Combo Jack, 1 x SD Card Reader 3.0, 1 x USB Type C (USB 3.2 Gen1), 1 x USB Type A (USB 3.2 Gen 1), 1 x E-Shutter Button, 1 x DC-Inface, 1 x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen1 (Always-on 5V2A), 2 x Thunderbolt 4 (3.2 Gen, DisplayPort 1.4, 140W Power Delivery), 1 x HDMI 2.1 and 1 x RJ45. There’s also a stereo speaker setup of 2W Speakers with Nahimic Audio. Lastly, there’s Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v5.1 for wireless connectivity.
Lenovo Legion Glasses: Specifications, Price
The Lenovo Legion Glasses are expected to be available in October 2023 starting at €499 (approx Rs 44,500). As for its features, the Legion Glasses “offer a smarter, private, big screen solution for gaming and content consumption, whether it’s on the Lenovo Legion Go or any other compatible device”, according to the company.
The company says that the glasses are compatible with most Windows, Android, and macOS devices with full-function USB-C ports. The glasses are equipped with micro-OLED display technology that delivers high colour and contrast range FHD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels) for each eye with a 60Hz refresh rate. They further deliver high-fidelity audio via built-in speakers.
