Infinite Magicraid is an all-new 5v5 strategy-based RPG game by DHGAMES. Lead your team to victories against the army of the evil gods across the Lowes Continent and defeat the evil god Lihem. Infinite Magicraid allows you to become the commander of your team of fighters, each with unique skills and abilities. Mix and match different team compositions and let the strategist in you shine.
Offering an Auto-Play option, Infinite Magicraid allows you to focus on essential things like unlocking new fighters, obtaining coins, and clearing objectives as your troops take care of the enemies. With the help of the target locking and sequence features, it truly encapsulates the feeling of being a commander on the battlefield.
THE GOOD
Main Campaign
Offering a whopping total of 12 lengthy campaigns, Infinite Magicraid can keep you engaged for hours without even realizing it. Each campaign starts with a well-made opening cutscene following the lore and storyline of the game. In addition, each campaign comes with rewards upon completion and an introduction to newer types of fighters; this helps players adjust their team composition accordingly. However, if the campaigns get repetitive and boring, you can Auto-play your way through them.
The main story is about the evil god, Lihem, wrecking across the Lowes Continent by turning people into monsters. The initial fighters, Kristine and firewater, are tasked with gathering a team and taking down Lihem. As we progress through the campaigns, more and more allies come together, and we get closer to finding out the truth about Lihem.
Grinding Aspect
Infinite Magicraid is a game that requires a lot of grinding to get the resources and items you need to become good at the game. Most fighters and equipment are unlockable, but it takes time to earn enough money and level up your fighters. However, the game definitely supports players that grind by offering many resources on leveling up and clearing campaigns. So, if you enjoy a game where you have to spend hours on becoming good, then Infinite Magicraid might be worth a shot.
Rank System
Campaign mode is all well and good, but to truly test your skills as a strategist and commander, the game offers Arenas. Here you can battle against other players worldwide and aim for the highest rank in the game; that is King. Each rank tier comes with its rewards, most of which are stat buffs applicable only during Arena battles.
This aspect adds to making this game even more competitive and exciting to play.
Great Graphics
The game offers some spectacular 3D graphics, making fights look even more intense. The animation of special attacks is also really well done. Unique character designs and fascinating locations are worth taking a second look at.
THE BAD
Inadequate Tutorial
One of the biggest negatives of Infinite Magicraid is the lengthy yet inadequate tutorial. The tutorial barely explains anything about the game and simply puts you into fights. Unfortunately, most of these fights are over before you even understand what you are doing there. You can’t skip the tutorial, but you can speed up and Auto-play it; however, it can only be up to x2, which isn’t much when you consider the x4 option after the tutorial is complete.
Attributes, Class, and Factions
The game has attributes, classes, and factions for each fighter; this aspect makes it confusing and complicated. There is a severe lack of descriptions regarding Attributes, which are Red Mark, Blue Mark, Green Mark, and Force Mark. They offer a simple chart signifying which mark is effective against the other; however, having 3 different classes and 10 factions that already classify and diversify fighters makes it useless.
While playing the game, the Mark aspect of the game never really affected the course of the battle too much. So unless the developers have plans to do something with that, all is well and good; otherwise, it’s simply unnecessary.
Good Game but Nothing Special
Although the game is good and has some excellent animations and graphics, it doesn’t have anything special or unique about it. Many other 5v5 strategy-based RPG games are available, so nothing about this game sets it apart from them.
VERDICT
Infinite Magicraid is a fun and thrilling RPG game you spend hours playing. It offers several game modes to keep you engaged, ranging from Campaigns to clearing Dungeons to battle it out against other players in the Arenas. In addition, the 3D animations and design of the game were very appealing to the eyes.
However, the game doesn’t really have anything that sets it apart from the other games in this genre. If you’re new to these kinds of games, Infinite Magicraid is a game definitely worth downloading. Fight against the forces of evil and help restore the Lowes Continent to its former glory.
