The popular game Honkai Star Rail launched earlier this year on Android, iOS, and PC, and now its release on Sony PlayStation 5 has been confirmed. The game’s launch date and special event have also been announced.

Honkai Star Rail was developed by miHoYo (publisher by HoYoverse) and is an action role-playing gacha game. It was released back on April 26 as the fourth instalment in the successful Honkai series. It features a turn-based combat system with some gameplay elements also inspired by Genshin Impact. The title offers the classic JRPG experience that has gamers build a lineup of characters and explore an open world as well as dungeons.

Honkai Star Rail: PlayStation 5 Release

The company behind the game has announced a special pre-registration event for the PS5 release. As per an official tweet, Honkai Star Rail is heading to the PlayStation 5 on 11th October 2023. In other words, the PlayStation release goes live alongside the version 1.4 update. Currently, gamers can go to the PlayStation store to pre-register for the game. To commemorate the PS launch, HoYoverse has a pre-registration event that players can take part in (click here to register). Those who complete the pre-registration process will receive a copy of The Seriousness of Breakfast, which is a 4-star Light Cone for free.

This offer is available to all platforms. This is not all since additional rewards are based on the cumulative number of pre-registrations. So if 100,000 people sign up, 10,000 credits will be given out. Hitting 300,000 and 600,000 registrations will offer 5 adventure logs and 5 Condensed Aether, respectively. If a million users sign up, The Seriousness of Breakfast Light Cone and the complete set of the 4-star Relic Musketeer of Wild Wheat are being promised. All of the rewards can be claimed from the in-game mailbox.
