Last year, a series of leaks offered us first glimpses of the highly anticipated Rockstar game, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). This confirmed the active development of the GTA V successor and showcased some of its gameplay mechanics. And now, a fresh round of leaks brings short clips of exciting police chases, new locations, and much more. So let’s have a look.
GTA 6 Leak: What’s it all about?
The latest GTA 6 sighting comes from @RockstarGTAVI on X. Upwards of 80 short videos were shared, although most of these have already been taken down, likely by Rockstar Games. A few videos survived this culling showcasing the male and female protagonists in different settings. This includes never-before-seen gameplay segments, although the clips are of an incomplete early build of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
GTA 6: Police Chase, Night Club, and Your Room

The most interesting video out of all was undoubtedly the police chase sequence. The Bonnie and Clyde-inspired female character is being chased by two police vehicles while she rides in the back of a getaway pickup truck. There is even a scene in which the same character is in a nightclub that features exotic dancers, bright neon aesthetics, and more. Again, the incomplete textures rears its head and this is likely a section of the large map that hasn’t been ironed out.
Most of the short clips show the developer mode enabled and the leaker is also playing around with in-game assets. This is best seen in the safehouse area, where the male protagonist likely resides. The messy room is probably one of the safe havens for the criminal character. With GTA 6 having a rumored 2024 launch, this doesn’t seem all too promising. But the leak is probably an older version that is just surfacing. So don’t get too disappointed by the unfinished game.
