About Game of Empires: Warring Realms
Game of Empires: Warring Realms is developed by EraTraveler Studio and is a strategy-based game. It comes under the RTS (real-time strategy) genre. It is an online multiplayer game requiring an active internet connection. The game also features choice-based output, wherein you can determine the look of your kingdom.
It has in-game resources that are required to complete tasks. These resources must be collected and widely used to recruit army troops and upgrade buildings. You will have an aerial view of your kingdom and can supervise everything and control the actions of your troops. Activities aren’t limited to gathering resources and waging wars; one can conduct research and go on expeditions too.
After the game starts, you are asked to select a character from any kingdom. The character chosen then serves the role of a chief general; they are referred to as heroes later in the game. There are 8 kingdoms in total, each with its unique set of buildings and a unique troop of units.
The 8 kingdoms are listed below:
- Russian Empire
- Kingdom of France
- Holy Roman Empire
The game starts with a tutorial. The tutorial is well-defined, and Alice guides you until you learn the basics of this game. You will have gestures guiding you, and they point towards what Alice is referring to.
Levelling up (prosperity)
This game has different ages; you will be promoted to the next age as you keep playing and unlock new things. You will start with the Neolithic age. Every action you perform in this game, for example, building a farm and collecting resources, will contribute to your prosperity. Once you reach a certain amount of prosperity, you’ll be promoted to the next age.
Food and wood are the staple resources used to recruit villagers, train infantrymen and build stables and barracks. Therefore, villagers play an important role in gathering resources. Various activities like picking berries from the bush and hunting animals will give you food, and wood is obtained through cutting trees.
The town hall is the most important building; it contributes the highest to prosperity. As the level of town hall increases, more villagers can be recruited to do the task of gathering resources.
Research is the name coined for building upgrades; you will unlock new technologies when you upgrade a building. In addition, every upgrade rewards you with prosperity points.
When barracks are built, you can start recruiting axemen, cavalry, and infantrymen into your troop. Your selected hero has special attacks, and they lead the battle.
Every kingdom has a unique castle and a unique set of units. A set of tasks is a Chapter, and completion of every chapter rewards with the material you require to build the castle. Unique units are unlocked at the end of stage 7. These units are different for every kingdom.
Game of Empires: Warring Realms – Tips and Tricks
- You can relocate your base, so whenever there aren’t any resources around you, try relocating your base to a better place.
- Upgrading the buildings should be your priority. They give you access to new technologies, which will boost your progress.
- The placement of farms also impacts the collection process; farms closer to food warehouses are fast because they get delivery of food quickly.
- Use villagers efficiently in their work, keeping them busy collecting food or wood. Leaving them on standby will slow down the progress.
- If you cannot proceed to the next level, look at your buildings’ requirements. Upgrade them.
- Completing the tasks gives you additional resources and guides you toward what you need to do. Once you complete all the tasks, you can claim the chapter-end rewards.
