Battle Royale game Fortnite has received an update that adds fresh features and content to the game. This update, labelled v26.20, is available on all platforms and requires a download size of approximately 1 GB. It introduces a new group of characters, the Transformers Bundle’s second edition, and new weapons and additional content.
One of the main highlights of the update is the crossover with the Star Wars series Ahsoka, which features the debut of the Ahsoka Tano outfit and themed cosmetic items. To unlock these items, players must own the premium Battle Pass and complete the Ahsoka quests, which involve finding Ahsoka Tano holograms across the island and interacting with them.
Doing so will grant players access to a rift that will transport them to a special location to obtain the Jedi Training Lightsaber, a new weapon with unique force abilities such as sprinting faster, double jumping, and pushing objects and players away.
Another major feature of the update is the second edition of the Transformer collaboration, which introduces several new skins based on the robots that can turn into cars. These include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream. The skins are available in the item shop for a limited time and come with their characteristics and emotes.

The update also brings some gameplay changes and bug fixes, such as adding a new weapon called Toggle Zoom DMR, a semi-automatic rifle that can switch between two zoom levels. The update also fixes issues with XP messaging in UEFN islands, security camera visibility, tournament objectives, and fall damage on Crash Pad Jr. landings.
The Fortnite v26.20 update is expected to be the last major update before the end of Chapter 4, Season 4. Players can expect more surprises and events as the season wraps up. Meanwhile, Fortnite recently introduced new cosmetic items inspired by the popular Shonen anime My Hero Academia. The crossover featured skins for popular characters like Mina Ashido, Eijiro Kirishima, and Shoto Todoroki.
