Epic Games is gearing up for a big giveaway in its massively successful battle royale title, Fortnite. The game is giving out a bunch of new cosmetics that are a part of its new Rainbow Royale event. This includes new emotes, skins, and more. So here’s how to get your hands on them.

Fortnite Rainbow Royale: How to get the Free Cosmetic

Fortnite already has thousands of cosmetic items, constantly updating the game with new ones with fresh battle passes. Some of the best skins can only be acquired by purchasing with V-bucks (in-game currencies that can be purchased with real money). But now, the Rainbow Royale is bringing in fresh cosmetics for free to all players. The event is live till Chapter 4, Season 4, rolls out. In other words, the event is only live till August 25.

There is no special requirement; gamers just need to claim them from the Item Shop. Fortnite will let you permanently keep 14 cosmetic items without spending any money. The new items were released to celebrate the LBGT community. While most of these skins were released in previous Rainbow Royale events, there are two new additions this year. This includes the new Big Fan emote and Beautiful Bow emoticon. Furthermore, players who missed the items from other years can also claim a bunch of other stuff.

This includes the Say It Proud lobby track, Rainbow Royale 2023 and Mazy And The Echos loading screens, Wild Rainbow Spray, Every Heart Emoticon, Vibrant Heart, Vibrant Llama, Dip and Take a Bow emotes, Prismatic Keepsakes, Vibrant Star, and Vibrant boogie. Apart from the free items, gamers can also buy certain limited-time skin for V-Bucks. The Mazy Skin is available for 1,200 V-Bucks, while the Prismatic Pride bundle with the Mazy Skin, Kaleido-Crusher harvesting tool, and Roy G-Wrapped wrap are available for a discounted price of 1,500 V-Bucks.
