Fortnite fans can look forward to another exciting crossover event! The game’s upcoming update will introduce new cosmetic items inspired by the popular Shonen anime My Hero Academia. Fortnite frequently collaborates with other franchises, and this time, they’re bringing back the anime for another round of battle royale action.
My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia (AKA Boku no Hero Academia) is a popular Japanese manga and anime series Kohei Horikoshi created. The story is set in a world where superpowers are real and are referred to as Quirks. It is filled with bright and contrasting characters and follows the journey of Izuku Midoriya (the protagonist), whose dream is to become a Hero.

My Hero Academia gets another Fortnite crossover
Following rumours, Epic Games has finally confirmed that Fortnite will get another My Hero Academia collaboration. Epic held the first MHA crossover last year. Similar to the first event, the update for Fortnite will feature a fresh range of cosmetics that gamers can buy using the in-game currency, V-Bucks. The crossover will feature skins for popular characters like Mina Ashido, Eijiro Kirishima, and Shoto Todoroki.
Like recent collaborations, the latest event will also feature new gameplay mechanics. These would likely be special abilities unique to the My Hero Academia universe and its characters. It is worth noting that these abilities are in the casual and competitive mode for as long as the event is live. Looking at the skin designs, Fortnite’s My Hero Academia crossover brings unique skins based on Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mina Ashido, as well as their alternate styles.

Each of these skins will cost 1,500 V-Bucks when purchased separately. Although, these are bundles in their way since they offer other accessories. A great example is the Cold-Hot Hitters pickaxes for Todoroki, the Acid Axe for Mira, and the Red Riot Thrashers for Eijiro, which are available in bundles.
