Fortnite is known for offering some of the biggest events in gaming history. Its collaboration has even brought some major crossovers as well. But the latest one might be its biggest one yet and it was made by a player. A new map was recently created by a fan and it combines Barbie with Oppenheimer, adding a colorful spin to the game.
Fortnite’s Barbenheimer Map Looks Exactly Like How it Sounds
The unique map was made by streamer Squatingdog and takes direct inspiration from the two newly released movies, Barbie and Oppenheimer. These two movies garnered a lot of hype in recent months owing to their same-day release and their contrasting themes. This gave rise to the term Barbenheimer, which has been trending in popular media. And now, the contrast between the two movies was directly reflected in the fan-made map as well.

The entire playable area is divided into two halves from the middle. One side sees a Barbie-inspired theme that is filled with pink houses, colorful props, and cheerful characters. On the other hand, the Oppenheimer area features a military area filled with soldiers getting ready for a battle. They are surrounded by tents and military vehicles to add to its gritty setting.
Unlike the bright and colorful hues in the Barbie area, Oppenheimer features dull colors to present a more depressing environment. Interestingly, this map appears to be inspired by Nuketown, which is a popular Call of Duty multiplayer map. Getting a 21-player kill streak will also allow you to detonate a nuke in this small Barbenheimer town as well. Squatingdog shared a tweet for this Gun Game map, which carries the Island Code: 0347-5540-6538, and you can check it out right now.
