A new spin-off of the popular exercise game series, Fitness Boxing, for the Nintendo Switch has been announced by Imagineer, the developer of the series. This new spin-off will feature the well-known virtual idol Hatsune Miku and is called Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku: Isshoni Exercise (Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku: Exercise Together). It is set to launch in Japan in spring 2024.
As for an overview of the game, it will retain the main theme of the Fitness Boxing series titles, which has sold millions of copies worldwide since its debut in December 2018. However, the edition with Hatsune Miku will allow players to enjoy boxing exercises under the guidance of her voice while listening to her tracks from various creators, including a main theme song by cosMo@bousouP.
For those unaware of Hatsune Miku, she is a vocalic character created by Crypton Future Media. The character has gained a huge fanbase around the world for her music, games, and concerts. She has also collaborated with various known brands and media, such as Domino’s Pizza, Toyota, and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Imagineer has also released a teaser trailer for Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku: Isshoni Exercise that gives the players a glimpse of what type of gameplay and visuals the title will have to offer. As of now, there is no word on whether the game will be made available for other regions, but one can keep an eye out on the game’s official website for any updates the developer will release.
In related news to Fitness Boxing, Nintendo announced that it will be removing the Switch-exclusive title from its eShop by November 30, 2023. From the said date, purchasing the digital version of Fitness Boxing or downloading the demo will no longer be possible. Further, users who have already purchased the software can continue to play or re-download the software and download software updates beyond that time. The reason behind pulling off the move was not specified.
