EA has finally parted ways with Fifa after nearly 30 years. Fifa 23 was EA Sports’ last entry from one of the most popular sports game series of all time. But this doesn’t mean that Electronic Arts is hanging up its boots just yet. EA Sports FC 24 is the company’s first football game without Fifa, which will be launching soon. So here’s everything you need to know.
EA Sports FC 24: FIFA with a New Paint Job
EA Sports FC 24 was first unveiled earlier this month and from the looks of it, the game is basically a new Fifa game. Electronic Arts shared the gameplay footage recently to show off new animations and recreate the iconic goal of Erling Haaland against Borussia Dortmund in the last Champions League. The trailer also revealed female players that will now be a part of the Ultimate Team for the first time ever. In other words, male players can go up against female players as well.

Release Date, Pre-Orders, Beta, and Pricing
EA Sports FC 24 has an official launch date of 29th September 2023. The box art will feature Manchester City’s Erling Haaland on the cover. It is worth noting that there are two different versions of the game, which are both available for pre-order right now. This includes the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition. The Standard Edition sells for £59.99 on the PC, £69.99 on the PS5/PS4, £69.99 on the Xbox Series X/S and One, and £54.99 on the Nintendo Switch.
The Ultimate Edition is available for £79.99 for the PC, £89.99 for the PS5/PS4, and £99.99 for the Xbox Series X/S and One. Buyers that place pre-orders will get access to the game a week earlier than everybody else. While the launch is two months away, EA is planning to run a closed beta system for FC 24 soon. The company has run betas for its previous Fifa games as well, but the exact date for FC 24 is still unclear. Although, rumors have hinted at the beta opening on the start of 31st July 2023.
