Video game designer Hideo Kojima announced last year that a sequel to Death Stranding is in development. While details are still scarce, Kojima’s recent social media posts have hinted at a dream cast that includes not only Norman Reedus but also Keanu Reeves, who played John Wick.
Death Stranding 2 may bring on Keanu Reeves as a major character
Hideo Kojima is best known for his work on the popular Metal Gear franchise. But after his split from Konami, he released Death Stranding, a narratively-driven title that was also a commercial success. The game also featured actor Norman Reedus as the model for the protagonist. So when the game creator shared pictures of Keanu Reeves and Norman Reedus together on Instagram, it didn’t take much for fans to instantly speculate on Reeves’ appearance in the upcoming Death Stranding 2.

The first game in the series already had a star-studded cast, including actors like Keifer Sutherland and Norman Reedus. However, the sequel is expected to have an even bigger cast. Elle Fanning is one of the notable names joining the cast. One of the recent Instagram posts also hints at Keanu Reeves sharing the screen with Reedus, which is exciting news for fans. It’s worth noting that both Reedus and Reeves have a strong passion for motorcycles, with Reedus even hosting a show about them on AMC and Reeves being a Co-Founder of Arch Motorcycle.

Just like Reedus, Keanu has also dabbled in the gaming industry. His best and most iconic role so far is in Cyberpunk 2077. He played the role of a famous rockstar, Johnny Silverhand, in CD Projekt Red’s game. Unfortunately, we don’t have any concrete information to confirm this news, so take this report with a pinch of salt for now.
