Many fans of the action genre have a special place in their hearts for James Bond. This month, a new game featuring the spy character, Cypher 007, will be available on Apple Arcade. Players can relive the most iconic scenes and settings from Bond movies, including Casino Royale, Moonraker, and Skyfall.
The game is set to release on September 29, according to the developer Tilting Point. It is the same developer behind the other games on Apple Arcade, including SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off and Star Trek Timelines. The plot of the game revolves around Bond’s attempt to stop the evil Blofeld, the leader of Spectre, who is trying to turn him into a double agent. Players will have to use their spy craft skills, gadgets, and weapons to collect intel and complete missions while uncovering secrets.

“Players will complete missions to bring down Blofeld and Spectre once and for all and compete against other 007 agents around the world via leaderboards to prove they’re the best spy of all time”, read the game’s description. The title belongs to the top-down stealth action-adventure genre. A trailer for the game, alongside various screenshots, was also released.

The game will be available at no extra cost to Apple Arcade subscribers, who can also enjoy other games launching on the same day, such as Japanese Rural Life Adventure, Junkworld, and My Talking Angela 2+.
Cypher 007 is not the only upcoming James Bond game as IO Interactive, the creator of titles including Hitman and Kane and Lynch, announced back in 2020 that it is also working on a James Bond video game under the title of Project 007. A teaser trailer for the game was also announced, where the title was described as a “wholly original Bond story” in which “players will step into the shoes of the world’s favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first Bond origin story.”
