Xbox series X wraps

While Microsoft has been releasing limited edition consoles themed based on trending games and movies, it is now giving Xbox series X users a new way to customise their consoles with wraps. Launching later this year, wraps will allow gamers to be able to customise their consoles’ look and show support for their favourite games.

Microsoft, though it’s Xbox design labs, allows fans to design and purchase their own personalised Xbox controllers with various skins and designs but the ability to do so wasn’t available for consoles until now. “With the launch of Series X Console Wraps, you can customise the console you already have”, says Microsoft in a blog post announcing the feature.

The first set of releases comprises of three new wraps for Xbox series X. These include a Starfield design that pairs well with the recently released Starfield Controller and Headset, and two camo colours to choose from, namely Arctic Camo and Mineral Camo.

“The wraps were designed specifically for Series X and have a custom, precision fit.  Every detail was taken into consideration to ensure your console performance is preserved– vents are all clear, and small feet were added to the bottom of the wraps to ensure air can flow freely through the console”, claims Microsoft.
