Activision has announced the Open Beta dates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which will be playable on PlayStation a month before the game’s release on November 10.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 features have already been detailed by the developer earlier, the Open Beta dates have now been confirmed where PS4 and PS5 owners will get access to it beginning October 6 through October 10. It will begin on Friday, October 6 at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST) and end on Tuesday, October 10 at 10 AM PT. The first two days will be reserved for those PS4 and PS5 owners who pre-ordered the game, while the rest of the weekend will have the game accessible to all PlayStation players regardless of preorder status.
This was weekend one, while weekend two begins on Thursday, October 12 at 10 AM PT and end on Monday, October 16 at 10 AM PT. This one’s a free Open Beta weekend for all PlayStation 4 and 5 owners, regardless of their pre-order status. Those who preordered the game for Xbox Series X, Series S or on Xbox One, or pre-purchased for PC via Battle.net or Steam, can begin playing the Beta on October 12.

The rest of the weekend, from Saturday, October 14, till October 16, is accessible to Xbox and PC players regardless of their preorder status. Moreover, the Activision team says that an Xbox Live Core Subscription will not be required for Xbox players, for this period only.

Meanwhile, the developers say that those who pre-order now will receive immediate rewards in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare II, as well as for Modern Warfare III later in November. The game’s physical and digital editions can be pre-ordered on your platform of choice.
