Top 5 Best Mobile Games of All Time

Share Story:

Even though playing video games alone is a lot of fun, playing them with friends enhances the experience. Playing video games with friends is lively and enjoyable, and you can do it on your smartphone. You may engage in trash-talking and other forms of teasing, join the same team and express excitement when you win a game together.

Playing two-player mobile games is the most enjoyable way to unwind in your free time. Many gamers started playing these games during the pandemic to keep themselves engaged. The free games listed below are perfect if you’re seeking a two-player cooperative, mobile game for Android or iPhone.

1. Badland

If you’re searching for something a little unusual, the critics have commended Badland as a unique game with fantastic visuals. The game aims to move your blob past challenges to finish the stage. Both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes are available in the game.

Badland will take you to a magnificent forest filled with trees, flowers and adventure. Players take control of one of the forest residents as they explore and uncover an astounding array of creative obstacles and traps. Additionally, Badland offers a multiplayer option that supports up to four people on the same device for more than 20 levels. Additional multiplayer levels will be available in the future.

Badland is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

2. DUAL!

DUAL! is one of the most innovative multiplayer games. Players compete against one another in various ways using two distinct devices connected locally. On DUAL, there are three distinct modes; the first level is called DUEL. It requires players to tilt their phones to avoid their opponent’s bullets, charge their weapons to fire at the other and predict where their enemy will be to take them out with their bullets. Users must defend themselves by tilting their screens to escape the bullets. Users will witness bullets pouring into their screen from random directions that the other user has fired.

The second mode, DEFEND, is a multiplayer tower-defence-style game where the two players must cooperate to protect their middle ground from an onslaught of invaders. Finally, the last mode is called DEFLECT, and it requires players to try to score goals by shooting a ball from one screen to the other while deflecting shots from their rivals that attempt to enter their goal.

DUAL ! is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

3. Crossy Road

Crossy Road draws inspiration from the legendary retro game Frogger and offers a similar, addicting gaming experience with a cute block look. The two-player option allows you to play simultaneously on one device with split-screen input. You can sabotage your opponent while also competing with them.

The game’s controls are also simple; to move up or down, you press the top or bottom of the screen, and to move left or right, you swipe. Numerous dangers, such as cars, rivers, and railroad lines, are presented to the player. For example, getting grabbed by a bald eagle could result in the game ending early if you took too long to move your character.

This game has many distinct characters, ranging from the Chicken to the Android Logo. Another 12 characters could be unlocked using green tokens, making a total of about 204 characters that can be unlocked using in-game payment. You can play the game on a larger screen using Android TV, which is compatible.

Crossy Road is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

4. Glow Hockey

Games were a significant part of societal entertainment and culture in the past. In local arcades, people assembled and played single-player and multiplayer games. So it makes sense that some of the best two-player video games today are influenced by vintage arcades. One of them is Air Hockey, a traditional two-player competitive game. Inspired by the classic arcade game Glow Hockey 2 has brought the same entertainment to our smartphones.

The game is challenging to master yet incredibly simple to play. Given the game’s fun, it might become a little addictive. It’s as simple as getting the puck into your rival’s goal and defending your own goal by using your finger to direct the striker. There are three themes and four difficulty settings; you will also find different paddles and pucks featured in the game.

Glow Hockey is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

5. Tic-Tac-Toe

It was not possible to leave tic-tac-toe out of this list. Well, this game does not need any introduction, as almost everyone is familiar with it. It is one of the best games for stimulating the mind and testing your logical abilities. Now available on your mobile devices, you can invite your friend for a stress-busting session.

Although the game is as simple as it can get, the tacky graphics of the app makes it entertaining. The app has a gorgeous user interface with fun neon glow effects. There are four different levels of difficulty, and both single-player and multiplayer game modes are offered.

Tic-Tac-Toe is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

Conclusion

Technology keeps advancing as the world keeps turning. And as technology develops, game designers come up with fresh and intriguing ways to push the envelope. Unfortunately, that innovation has long been restricted to console and PC platforms. But recently, the mobile games has started to catch up.

The appeal of connecting with a friend and playing with them in through mobile games cannot be denied, given its accessibility. As a result, game designers will keep attempting to close the divide between mobile gamers and the multiplayer experience and will keep bringing people closer.
