Ayaneo revealed the Kun gaming handheld back in July, and now, the brand has revealed the pricing at which it will go on sale. Apart from that, the pre-order date for the handheld console is likely set for September 5. Ayaneo also gave us all the specifications the Kun is set to sport including its chipset, RAM, battery and more. Price for the Ayaneo Kun has also been revealed.
Ayaneo Kun: Pre-order details, Price
The Ayaneo Kun will be available via the Indiegogo campaign, and several configurations are on offer. Those who buy in early will receive an early bird discount of $200. The gaming handheld starts at $1,209 (approx Rs 99,900) retail for 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, going all the way up to $1,949 (approx Rs 1,61,000) for 64GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD.
Ayaneo Kun: Specifications

The Ayaneo Kun sports an 8.4-inch 2.5K resolution IPS display, making it one of the largest screens ever seen on a handheld. The panel can get bright up to 500 nits and also gets 90 percent DCI-P3 colour. It draws power from an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor with support for up to 54W TDP.

Next, it houses a full-length M.2 2280 SSD slot supporting up to 8TB of internal storage. RAM options include 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. As for battery life, it packs a 75 Wh (19,500 mAh) unit. Further, the Ayaneo Kun is the first Windows 11 gaming handheld to feature a touchpad. It also boasts of Customisable back buttons and a floating eight-directional d-pad. Lastly, it gets hall-sensing joysticks and triggers and can use Windows Hello for face recognition.
Compared to Asus ROG Ally, the Ayaneo Kun features a slightly better chipset, a higher resolution display that is also bigger simultaneously, and a much bigger battery. However, there’s also a higher price tag to compensate for the upgraded specifications you are getting with the Ayaneo Kun.
