Ubisoft Exec Might Have Leaked Assassin’s Creed Red’s Launch Timeline
A Twitter user found a LinkedIn post that was made by a Ubisoft official, which hints at a 2024 release for the upcoming game. Arisa Langunzad, a part of the Business Development and Brand Partnership team at Ubisoft, made the post in the search for new sponsorship partners for the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series. In her own words, the new launch will be the “biggest blockbuster” of 2024.
It looks like a few months ago the Business Development and Brand Partnership teams at Ubisoft were looking for sponsorship partners for #AssassinsCreed Codename Red in 2024, which could act as a partial confirmation of the game actually being planned for 2024 at the moment! pic.twitter.com/m7mq2z3Gp5

The original post was in Japanese and translating the text reveals that Ubisoft was basically promoting the Assassin’s Creed franchise as the next big blockbuster of next year in order to attract sponsorship partners. Codename Red is set in feudal Japan and developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the same studio behind the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The latest AC title will retain the series’ third-person action-adventure style gameplay in an open world and RPG elements (Role-Playing Game).
