Ubisoft has finally shared an official gameplay trailer for the highly awaited mobile Assassin’s Creed game. The trailer confirmed the title’s name, Assassin’s Creed Jade, and showcased some gorgeous graphics for the upcoming mobile game. So let’s have a look.
For those unaware, AC Jade is being developed by Tencent and is a major shift for Ubisoft, which is best known for large open-world games for PC and consoles. It is a mobile spin-off that takes the popular Assassin’s Creed franchise to a brand-new region, China. So, prepare to visit historical sites in the Xianyang location in the third century.
Assassin’s Creed Jade: The Gameplay
While this isn’t the first time the Assassin’s Creed franchise made its way to mobile devices, it’s easily the one that resembles the PC and console versions the closest. The French video game publisher clearly had a larger budget for this title, with updated graphics and gameplay mechanics being notable standouts in the trailer. We can see the player-controlled character running around performing feats like parkour, climbing, riding, and even assassinations.

The gameplay also shows off the character wielding different types of weapons, which hints at multiple weapon classes. Assassin’s Creed Jade will not be a simple campaign-focused game and will rather work as a live service title. In other words, the game will be more of an ongoing adventure experience, with Ubisoft constantly adding more content that players can spend hours on. This will include regular updates, new stories, and fresh areas to explore.
