Apple iPhone 15 Pro to get Assassin’s Creed Mirage and more games soon, thanks to A17 Pro chip

Apple unleashed its iPhone 15 lineup yesterday night with the Pro models being reserved with the most powerful chipset the brand has made for its iPhones. Thanks to the new A17 Pro processor, which unlocks new gaming possibilities, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be getting the Resident Evil 4 remake, Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and The Division Resurgence later this year and in early 2024.

Apple A17 Pro with the biggest redesign in GPU in brand’s history

The new A17 Pro processor is the first from Apple in terms of the naming scheme, as it is no longer called the Bionic chipset. It includes the biggest GPU redesign in Apple’s history, according to the company.

GPU is up to 20 percent faster and unlocks entirely new experiences, featuring a new 6-core design that increases peak performance and energy efficiency. The chip now boasts hardware-accelerated ray tracing — which is 4x faster than software-based ray tracing. The brand claims that the iPhone 15 Pro offers smoother graphics and more immersive AR applications and gaming experiences.

New AAA titles coming to iPhone 15 Pro

Amongst the four new games we mentioned, it will be the first time that a console/PC Assassin’s Creed game will run natively on iOS. This title will be different from the one called Assassin’s Creed Jade, which is also set to debut soon.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 5 and Apple says that the title will drop in early 2024 for the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Meanwhile, new games are also coming to Apple Arcade later this month. Cypher 007, the James Bond-based title, is set to release on September 29. The plot of the game revolves around Bond’s attempt to stop the evil Blofeld, the leader of Spectre, who is trying to turn him into a double agent.

The game will be available at no extra cost to Apple Arcade subscribers, who can also enjoy other games launching on the same day, such as Japanese Rural Life Adventure, Junkworld, and My Talking Angela 2+.
