Acer has unveiled a new gaming laptop in its entry-level Nitro series. The Nitro V 15 features impressive specs and is affordable for gamers.
Acer Nitro V 15: Specifications
The Nitro V 15 sports a 15.6-inch display with a Full HD resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The higher frame rate panel is also complimented with a 3ms response time and a high 82% screen-to-body ratio. However, the company will equip the Nitro V 15 with a higher 165Hz refresh rate in select markets. The gaming laptop offers Acer’s Purified View and Purified Voice for an improved video calling experience.

Under the hood, the Acer Nitro V 15 has the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors, which are paired with Nvidia’s RTX GPUs and up to 16GB of RAM. It is offered in multiple models, including the RTX 2050, RTX 3050, and RTX 4050. With these specs, the notebook is intended for gamers on a budget or players who play casual or competitive titles that do not require beefy specs.

Acer Nitro V 15: Pricing and Availability
While the official release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the Nitro V 15 is set to be released in October 2023. Its base model is available in multiple configurations, starting at just $700. This will offer an Intel i5-13420H, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and RTX 2050 GPU. The RTX 3050 variant costs $770, while the RTX 4050 model will be sold for $850. Lastly, the top-end model has a price tag of $1,000 and features a more powerful Intel Core i7-13620H CPU, 16GB of RAM, RTX 4050, and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
