Microsoft confirmed three new titles for Xbox Game Pass: Everspace 2, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Sea of Stars. All three games will be available on Xbox Series X and Series S.
Everspace 2
Prepare to fight epic space battles in Everspace 2 (a direct sequel to Everspace). It is a single-player spaceship shooter that brings RPG mechanics, looting, mining, and crafting. Set in a gorgeous sci-fi universe, the game will have you explore various planets and unique environments in space. There are nine different spaceship classes to choose from, which offers great replayability since every new playthrough can be different. Xbox Game Pass will roll out Everspace 2 on August 15.
Sea of Stars
Sea of Stars is a beautifully crafted turn-based RPG. The game revolves around two Children of the Solstice who have to combine the power of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic. However, the duo must face off against the forces of evil and the monsters created by the dark alchemist known simply as The Fleshmancer. So get ready to dive into the world of Sea of Stars which is inspired by classic JRPGs (Japanese Role Play Games). The game is set to release on August 29.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre lets you relive the classic American horror story. This title is based on the iconic 1974 thriller film but adds asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay to the mix. Gamers are pitted against one another, taking on the role of the victims that are trying to escape or as the family members of the Slaughter Family. The game is similar to Dead By Daylight by letting you play as the deranged serial killer Leatherface. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre drops on Xbox Game Pass on August 18, so get ready to run!
